Sad picture time. Elphaba and Glinda are never to meet again. I wanted the focus to be on Glinda, because although it's a very tender moment for both of them, I think it's more poignant from Glinda's perspective. She's saying goodbye not only to her best friend, but to the person who has changed her entire life. Glinda basically owes everything she is to Elphaba. How in Oz in the world would you be able to say goodbye to someone who means so much to you?? :iconcryforeverplz:

But anyway..........................I AM SO PROUD OF GLINDA'S HAIR!!!!! It turned out laik a boss. Curly hair is my arch-nemesis but I think I kinda pwned it this time. And I did this whole picture in one day, which I am also quite happy about. But now :iconimdeadplz:

My two inspirations for this picture were "Eric's Song" by Vienna Teng (which I am absolutely in love with and I listened to an obscene amount of times while working on this) and this incredible and rather heart-wrenching performance of "For Good" that I found on YouTube: [link] . Seriously, watch it.

Edit: fixed that awful hand!

I use to cry when i listened the song, but after saw the scene, i just canīt no cry, and oh my, this capture the moment. The dress is too elaborate and looks exactly like in the play, amazing.
